Purpose

Contribute to the success of Global Analytics and Financial Engineering in the US by executing and delivering on specific goals, plans, and initiatives that support business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.

What You'll Do
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Develop valuation models for equity derivatives flow and exotics products, ensuring their theoretical soundness, numerical accuracy, and correct implementation.
  • Provide quantitative support to the equity derivatives and structured notes business globally.
  • Develop robust, reliable, and user-friendly front office analytics for pricing, hedging, risk management, and P&L attribution for intraday and end-of-day.
  • Provide daily and on-demand quantitative support related to valuation, risks, PnL attribution, hedging, etc.
  • Offer subject matter expertise to stakeholders such as the business, risk management, audit, product control, and technology groups during and after model implementation.
  • Partner closely with the business to deliver models and analytics from end to end with limited supervision.
  • Stay current on advancements in models and related technology, proactively introducing these into the bank.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and culture influence daily activities and decisions.
  • Ensure effective operations and controls to meet operational, regulatory, AML/ATF, and conduct risk obligations, including adherence to relevant frameworks and guidelines.
What You'll Bring
  • PhD or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or other quantitative fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in equity derivatives and structured notes products and their valuation models.
  • Knowledge of local volatility, stochastic volatility, multi-asset valuation, calibration schemes.
  • Solid background in PDE, Monte Carlo, and stochastic calculus.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, C++11 or higher; experience with Python preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Work Arrangement

This position is currently on-site, requiring at least 4 days a week in the office, subject to change based on business needs.
