What you’ll be doing:

As the Director – Domain Strategy & Implementation, Enterprise Data Management, you will be responsible for defining the Data Domain strategy and roadmap for the Enterprise, aligning with overall business objectives and data needs. You will chair the Data Domain Governance Forum lead; identification of Domains, resolve data discrepancies among Domain leads on different views and implementations of data projects. Additionally, you will lead inter-disciplinary teams, improving and streamlining data quality, metadata management and data access within the company, working closely with Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Technology to set and deliver on business requirements.

How you’ll succeed

• Drive Strategy - Provide strategic leadership to businesses on how to derive Data Domains and deliver Data Products for their business area to support business operations, strategic objectives, and advanced analytics.

• Architecture Implementation - Drive the establishment of an architecture and a collection of integrated decision-support (Book of Record & Authoritative) applications and databases – providing the business community easy access to business data.

• Innovate Change - In collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, challenge physical design of data-related projects to ensure alignment to Enterprise approved data domain models, Lead discussions with key stakeholders across the bank to improve awareness of the business and client value of proactively understanding and managing data.

• Domain Research - Stay ahead of emerging trends in data management and analytics technology, proactively evaluating and recommending adoption.

• People Leadership - Build team capabilities by providing effective coaching, special project opportunities, and processes for compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate knowledge/experience in Data Management. 10+ years of knowledge in Data Mesh/Domain Driven Design principals for - creating conceptual and logical data domain models, data as a product, federated governance, experience in architecting and large data modernization, data migration, data modelling, and data warehousing, experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake), ETL, data engineering, data integration and data management concepts.
