What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Director, Digital Content Experience, Strategy & Operations to lead the transformation of RBC's digital channels. This role will oversee the strategy and operations for content across RBC’s public websites, serving both consumer and non-consumer audiences, to tell a cohesive, compelling, and customer-first story that reflects our values and delivers value to clients, shareholders, and communities.

This leader will play a key role in simplifying our information architecture, modernizing content management capabilities, and enabling faster market response through scalable workflows, best practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

What Will You Do?

  1. Content Journey Strategy & Experience Design
  • Define and lead the strategic vision for RBC’s public site content journeys, ensuring alignment across various departments and initiatives.
  • Reimagine digital navigation and content consumption through user-centric information architecture and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with UX, design, analytics, accessibility, and SEO teams to ensure intuitive, inclusive, and effective experiences.
  • Platform Enablement, Capability Development & Integration
    • Work with technology and business partners to improve digital content platforms, CMS capabilities, workflows, and governance.
    • Empower teams to create, manage, and publish content efficiently and consistently.
    • Manage product backlogs to prioritize features that deliver maximum value.
  • Content Operations & Governance
    • Lead daily content operations, ensuring governance, standards, compliance, and quality.
    • Establish scalable workflows for speed, control, and consistency.
  • Performance & Business Insight
    • Manage OKRs and use analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and inform strategy.
    • Drive continuous optimization based on data insights.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration, bringing strategic focus and a customer-first approach.

    What do you need to succeed?

    • 5-10+ years in digital product management, content strategy, digital media, or related fields.
    • Deep understanding of UX, content systems, and delivery methodologies.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute digital strategy and roadmaps.
    • Experience leading large-scale digital transformations and content architecture simplification.
    • Strong analytical skills, experience with SEO and digital analytics platforms.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Leadership experience and ability to navigate complex environments.
