Job description

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Prime Contracts Manager role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry. This leadership role is responsible for managing Prime Contract activities within high-risk, global projects. The position supports project leadership and collaborates closely with legal and risk management teams to ensure contract compliance, mitigate risk, and maximize project value and profitability. The role oversees Prime Contract Management across global projects, with potential assignments from various business lines. It ensures adherence to contract terms, supports change management, and protects the organization’s commercial interests throughout the project lifecycle. Act as the subject matter expert in Prime Contract Management. Lead contract administration in coordination with project leadership and legal counsel. Ensure compliance with contract terms, including reporting, notifications, and close-out. Manage change orders, claims, and dispute resolution processes. Support risk identification and mitigation strategies aligned with contract provisions. Oversee project correspondence to safeguard contractual rights. Facilitate contract transition from award through execution. Monitor project baselines and ensure alignment with contractual and commercial goals. Assist in client relationship management to support cooperation and future opportunities. Maintain contract records and documentation for audit and compliance. Support adherence to company policies, including health, safety, and sustainability standards. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Minimum of 20 years of experience in contract management or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling 24 years. Must have extensive experience overseeing the primary agreement with project owner / client. Ensure adherence to best practices in contract management and maintain a repository of contract management knowledge. Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. Technical knowledge pertinent to the role.
