Job summary

The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) in Toronto is seeking a Manager of Communications & Access to Justice Initiatives to lead strategic communications, public awareness and equity-focused access efforts.

You will guide reporting to government and funders, oversee the annual report and business plan, and collaborate with the Executive Team to promote HRLSC achievements and navigation of Ontario's human rights system.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organizational communications and media relations.
• Public awareness and community-facing access to justice initiatives.
• Strong leadership, strategic judgement and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to communications and access to justice initiatives.
• Oversee annual report, business planning and funder reporting.
• Lead public information sharing and informational tools development.
• Coordinate communications across the Executive Team and Board.
