Your role as Director, Commercial Auto Claims is crucial in managing our Commercial Automobile insurance business. This involves overseeing claims adjudication and management, ensuring empathetic handling of claims, and achieving superior results in claims resolution and litigation management.

The Right Fit For The Role

  • Experience in commercial transportation claims
  • Confidence in making and justifying claims decisions
  • Ability to explain decisions clearly to clients or legal counsel

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine claims handling policies for commercial automobile insurance
  • Oversee investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and improve processes
  • Manage claims reserves and financial reporting
  • Lead and mentor a team of claims professionals
  • Collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders to resolve complex claims
  • Report on claims metrics and trends to senior management
