Description

As the Global Cloud Service Provider Marketing Leader you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with cloud hyper-scalers, generating pipeline, and advancing deals to accelerate revenue growth.

As the Global Cloud Service Provider Marketing Leader you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with cloud hyper-scalers, generating pipeline, and advancing deals to accelerate revenue growth.

Tasked with both developing and executing global and regional strategies, you will work closely with the global Marketing team along with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, and the rest of the Mimecast Marketing Team, to align Cloud Service Provider field and partner marketing initiatives with overall business goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hyper-scalers, marketplaces, cloud software market dynamics and a proven track record in executing successful marketing strategies on a global scale.

What You'll Do

  • Develop joint messaging assets and templates for better together story with CSPs including key GTM and sales plays that appeal to Mimecast, CSP sellers, and channel partners
  • Align with the Alliances, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and implement a comprehensive global cloud service provider marketing strategy that maximizes pipeline and revenue, while aligning our direct and partner motions (with, through, to)
  • Support co-build launches
  • Collaborate with external comms team a plan for "news" and external communication points for the year (product, or partnership milestones)
  • Develop customer success stories to promote the joint marketing and co-selling motion
  • Develop and deliver impactful demand generation programs; leverage our Cloud Service Providers to amplify the brand and extend our reach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic CSP team members who can bring invite-only opportunities to the Mimecast team
  • Build, optimize, expand and maintain our marketplace listing by working cross functionally and with the CSP marketplace teams to take advantage of the latest buyer experience options
  • Work with corporate events team to help execute and plan our participation in Cloud Service Provider and proprietary corporate events, to measurably expand awareness, engage customers and partners, generate demand, and accelerate deals
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize the effectiveness of our field, partner, and events activities and provide regular reports to sales and marketing leaders and stakeholders
  • Work across the broader team to foster cross ecosystem collaboration including Channel Partner Private offers (CPPO) initiatives (marketing, events, education)
  • Data-Driven Insights : Leverage data and analytics to measure the impact of strategic partner marketing initiatives with our Cloud Service Providers, using insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize strategies
  • Monitor, manage and measure the Cloud Service Provider Marketing Development Fund budget to ensure we are meeting our objectives and delivering on our commitments
  • Support field enablement for internal field on comarketing and co-selling with CPSs, with channel partners around the value of CSP co-sell, and CSP field teams as required (Content creation, delivery, etc)
  • Create and lead a plan with a cross functional team to obtain key competencies and designations from AWS that would unlock additional program support for Mimecast
