We are looking for a Director, Client Implementations, who will own multi-module complex software implementations for new clients, ensuring scalable success and client satisfaction from day one. This role will have responsibility for both strategy and execution, using your proven experience to develop and lead innovative scalable client onboarding strategies and processes to make the lives of our employees and clients easier.

You will lead our Client Implementation team, which includes Implementation Consultants, Project Managers, and Principal Consultants. As a collaborative people leader, you will work cross-functionally with leaders across Avanti to deliver your strategy. You will help shape a scalable best-in-class service delivery model, design an efficient repeatable implementation process and client experience for companies implementing our Human Capital Management SaaS solutions.

Key measurements of success include client satisfaction scores, time-to-value reduction (TTV) project backlog, billable utilization, and employee engagement scores.

What you’ll do:

Program Ownership, Strategic Alignment, Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Regularly review the project pipeline and various implementation reports to make data driven decisions on strategic resource allocation
  • Lead implementations for net new clients, including module deployments and Business Process Reviews to support product adoption and retention
  • Own and deliver against Professional Services revenue targets, supporting expansion and upsell efforts in partnership with Account Management
  • Collaborate and partner with Sales, Account Management, Product and Client Care teams to design a cohesive and delightful client experience
  • Develop and implement regular client feedback loops and post-go-live retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and address implementation inefficiencies
  • Be accountable to Senior Leadership for Professional Services performance, delivering reports on key metrics and deliverables
  • Develop and templatize Statements of Work, Order Forms, and scalable service packages tailored to different client segments
  • Continuously iterate on implementation processes to align with product evolution, drive operational efficiency, and scale capacity through automation

Tactical team- or project-level execution and people management:

  • Oversee a broad portfolio of implementation projects, ensuring predictable, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for resolving client and team issues.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages openness, growth, and accountability.
  • Lead client implementations and migrations, including onsite delivery, when necessary, to support adoption and reduce time to value.
  • Apply change management strategies to support both client transitions and internal team adaptation.
  • Partner with third-party vendors to integrate complementary services into implementation engagements.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS implementation/ onboarding
  • 5+ years of experience managing professional services and/or implementation teams
  • You have a demonstrated track record of identifying and reducing routine, manual processes resulting in accelerated time-to-value for clients
  • You take pride in client’s service satisfaction and are driven to ensure your team delivers an exceptional and referenceable experience
  • You have the technical chops and experience working directly with Product and Technology teams to find configuration and implementation efficiencies and or working with developers where and when needed to support clients when needed to solve client challenges support custom services.
  • You are highly adept at communicating with clients, including C-level executives
  • You are comfortable getting your hands dirty and digging in when necessary
  • You have led high-performing teams and enjoy coaching teams to their maximum potential
  • You are comfortable working cross-functionally and building rapport with your colleagues across the organization
  • You are constantly challenging the status quo, comfortable in the uncomfortable, you want to win and create a best-in-class implementation experience that blows our competition out of the water!
