CIBC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Systems Analysis to lead our technology team. This role will focus on: Core Banking, Forms Management, and Payments Technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business systems analysis, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency within our organization.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Leadership – Management , performance measurement and business systems analysts and consultants who are accountable for the delivery of business and system requirements.
  • Strategic planning - Ensure that requirements for systems and solutions are aligned with the business goals of the organization
  • Accountability – Responsibility for the standardization of artifacts or deliverables delivered through the solution development lifecycle process. Ensure adherence to CIBC requirements standards, work practices, processes, security standards and policies.
  • Client relationships - Develop and sustain relationships across the organization in and outside of technology, including negotiation and influence independent of authority.
  • Delivery - Responsible for delivery of the Business and System requirements for all Digital initiatives across all market segments.

  • You can demonstrate experience in as a seasoned professional responsible for overseeing business analysis activities for a business unit, supporting technology initiatives and ensuring business goals are met. The role exercises a high degree of independent judgement, providing leadership for business consulting, information architecture activities and deliverables for a team delivering projects. Lead and mentor a team of business systems analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Familiar with and opinionated about new ways of working, team KPIs and performance monitoring Develop and implement strategic plans for business systems analysis that align with organizational goals. Experience in core banking and payments technology is an asset including awareness of various payment schemes, structures, and mainframe applications. Must be able to collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that improve banking operations and customer experience. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
