NTPC News is seeking a highly experienced Director for Business and Community Energy Development located in Hay River, NT. This leadership role requires expertise in developing community electricity plans, engaging with Indigenous governments, and identifying business opportunities. Reporting to the CFO, and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) the Director, Business and Community Energy Development is responsible for developing community electricity plans which includes, Integrated Resource Planning, Indigenous government and community electrification engagement with the potential for project development. Is the corporate lead to identify and execute potential business development opportunities and identifies and secures funding for projects and/or programs. The Director Business and Community Energy Development is responsible for leading the consultation, engagement and relationship building with Indigenous governments and communities on a broad range of corporate projects and initiatives. These activities include the negotiation on project agreements for new energy projects, consultation and engagement to build and maintain a strong, respectful and productive relationship with Indigenous governments and communities. As a member of SLT, the incumbent plays a key role in developing and executing corporate goals, financial plans, business plans and strategies to achieve the corporate mandate.
Salary for this position ranges from $95.82/hr to $119.78/hr. plus combined location and accommodation allowances of approximately $8,023 per annum.
