Lerners LLP is looking for a strategic thinker, passionate about combining creativity with results, to join our team as Director, Brand Strategy & Business Development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful marketing initiatives, collaborate with exceptional professionals, and make a meaningful difference in our client relationships and market presence.

About Us

Lerners LLP is one of Ontario’s largest and most respected firms, with offices in London, Toronto, Strathroy and Waterloo Region. Each office possesses its own unique strengths – from our full service shop in London, to one of the largest litigation boutiques in Toronto – and collectively, we work together for the benefit of all of our clients and communities. Join our team of over 140 highly skilled and experienced lawyers, with the help of more than 300 dedicated support staff, in sharing expertise and resources to deliver exceptional client service.

About the Role

As the Director, Brand Strategy & Business Development, you will serve as the go-to marketing partner for practice groups and lawyers, helping them to build their business and client profiles. You will drive business growth, collaborating with practice leaders to develop and implement tailored marketing and business development plans that support client acquisition and retention. You’ll lead marketing initiatives including planning and executing campaigns, events, sponsorships, and other programs that enhance the firm’s profile and drive results, and you’ll do so while collaborating with a high performing team of talented creative professionals. In this position, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the strengthening of the Lerners brand and building relationships and connections across the business and legal communities.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you have a data-driven approach, and a strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, analytics, and business development principles. You are an exceptional communicator, with impressive interpersonal skills, and the ability to coach, collaborate and build relationships across all levels. You have developed a proven track record of delivering impactful campaigns and managing multiple projects simultaneously, while also having a passion for building connections and community. These skills are complemented by your education in marketing, business administration or related field, and your previous years of progressive experience working with collaborative teams in a professional services environment.
