VaynerMedia is seeking a Director of Analytics to lead and develop a high-performing team of data analysts. The role involves driving insights and strategic recommendations, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, and mentoring talent to elevate analytics capabilities.

What You'd Do:

  1. Collaborate with senior leaders across media, strategy, and creative teams to drive data-driven insights and growth.
  2. Develop analytics frameworks, measurement plans, and success metrics aligned with business goals.
  3. Guide clients in evolving success measures using first-party data and predictive modeling.
  4. Define and lead the analytics agenda, ensuring measurement frameworks stay current with industry trends.
  5. Oversee reporting, dashboards, and modeling to ensure accuracy and actionable insights.
  6. Develop measurement frameworks including MMM, MTA, and attribution solutions.
  7. Utilize first-party data to improve audience targeting and media effectiveness.
  8. Lead presentations and discussions with stakeholders, translating data into compelling narratives.
  9. Support new business development for the Analytics practice.
  10. Manage and mentor analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative team environment.

What You've Got:

  1. 7-10 years in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on social media.
  2. Deep knowledge of digital media channels, measurement methodologies, and performance marketing.
  3. Experience with platforms like Google Ads, DV360, Facebook, Amazon, TikTok, Twitter, SnapChat.
  4. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Nielsen, IRI, Millward Brown, Oracle.
  5. Strong storytelling and data visualization skills, with tools like Tableau.
  6. Experience managing analytics teams across accounts.
  7. Effective client communication skills, including presentations and thought leadership.
  8. Knowledge of retail media, omnichannel attribution, and performance marketing.
  9. Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  10. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-Lookups, and macros.
