Williamsonz in Renfrew County, Ontario, seeks a Directional Driller to support HDD operations. You will execute complex bores for utilities with high accuracy, under supervision, while maintaining strict safety and organization on site.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather. Wage is competitive and benefits begin after probation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directional drilling experience.
• Ability to operate HDD rigs and place cables/duct.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow FLHA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HDD rigs to bore utilities with accuracy.
• Complete Field-Level Hazard Assessments before work.
• Follow bore path with real‑time depth adjustments.
• Monitor drilling mud/bentonite based on soil conditions.
• Document bore logs and maintain equipment logs.
• Coordinate with supervisor and ground crew; report issues.
