WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TERRITORY MANAGER Saguenay Region

  • SENIORITY LEVEL: G33 = Experienced, Non-management
  • FUNCTION: Marketing
  • LOCATION: Saguenay

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of the Commercial Marketing team.

The role is responsible for delivering commercial and consumer performance within an assigned geographical area by building strong customer relationships with retailers and staff, leveraging commercial insights and digital assets to meet consumer needs.

Reports to: Business Area Manager / Strategic Area Manager

Reporting Level: No direct reports

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  1. Managing your territory to deliver volume and market share targets, contributing to national, regional, and district objectives, through effective implementation of cycle activities across all product categories;
  2. Delivering an outstanding customer experience by leveraging digital tools and assets to maintain strong business relationships, train retailers and staff to communicate our brands effectively, respond promptly to questions and concerns, monitor contract compliance, and provide personalized customer and consumer insights to enhance performance;
  3. Generating and maintaining market demand for our multi-category products by ensuring adequate inventory, achieving distribution targets, reducing out-of-stock situations, merchandising effectively, and maintaining competitive pricing;
  4. Collaborating on special projects at provincial and national levels with your team of Territory Managers;
  5. Driving performance in a highly regulated market.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

  1. 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience (e.g., marketing-focused role)
  2. Previous experience in FMCG or a global organization
  3. Strong extracurricular participation record (e.g., case competitions, student groups, sports teams)

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Aspire to an experience offering daily learning and growth opportunities
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong business insights, strategic approach, and account management capabilities
  • Energetic, driven, and autonomous
  • Facility with digital tools and ability to interpret commercial data, identify opportunities, and implement plans
  • Ability to focus on long-term objectives while capitalizing on short-term opportunities

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Valid driver’s license in any Canadian province or territory
  • Legal right to work in Canada
  • Bilingual (French and English) – knowledge of English is required for dealing with customers and suppliers across Canada and globally
