The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal is seeking candidates for the position of Deputy Director of the Directorate of Academic Affairs and Research Ethics (DAAER). Our institution encompasses over thirty sites, with an operating budget of $1,058,580,354, covering main and ancillary activities.
Under the authority of the Director of DAAER, you will demonstrate leadership in a context of organizational transformation and complexity following the merger and integration of multiple establishments with various facilities, missions, and professions. Your role involves managing legal frameworks, performance, transparency, and demonstrating high responsibility, accountability, management courage, and expertise in change management, continuous quality improvement, performance, efficiency, and strict budget management.
Your mandate includes academic teaching, supporting the learning environment, research centers, and expertise within DAAER, as well as overseeing research activities and research ethics within the CIUSSS.
You will develop and mobilize management teams for operationalization and implementation of mandates, manage financial, material, and informational resources, and promote an organizational culture of learning and university mission integration.
You will represent your direction, participate in committees, and support university designation renewal processes in collaboration with scientific leaders.
This full-time, exclusive position requires a credible, experienced manager capable of strategic and operational leadership, effective communication, and representing your direction in various sector committees.
