Job Summary
T he Director of Pharmaceutical Distribution Service (Canada) oversees application delivery and support for McKesson Canada Supply Chain . They lead a team of technology professionals , fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence aligned with McKesson’s ICARE and ILEAD values. They provide mentorship to ensure professional development and growth.
This role also leads operational technology activities, managing an operational team that delivers services based on SOPs and supports supply chain users. They act as a single point of contact and leverage broader capabilities within MT to achieve results.
The Director manages a multidisciplinary team, including external partners for analysis, development, and support. They coordinate multiple projects to ensure alignment with company objectives and added value. They analyze business needs to develop strategic solutions and evaluate business processes, systems, and user needs against requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain technology modernization strategies aligned with corporate objectives . Oversee project management related to initiatives . Drive innovation in areas such as automation, sustainability, and risk mitigation . Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Leader on a three-year project roadmap to address business needs .
Incident Management : Effectively respond to critical system disruption impacting supply chain critical systems. Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders during crises, providing updates on remedial actions being taken
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and certification requirements, including SOX, Cybersecurity, and Compliance standards.
Innovation and Technology Integration : Investigate AI and robotics to improve supply chain operations as well as IT service delivery . Lead pilot projects, assess feasibility, and ROI before full implementation.
Process Improvement: Identify and address operational inefficiencies at various stages of service delivery to stakeholders. Undertake regular performance assessments and implement necessary corrective actions as required .
Cost Optimization : Analyze supply chain technology support expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
Customer Satisfaction : Ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with Cabana Supply Chain team to understand customer needs and adapt supply chain practices accordingly. Monitor KPIs to measure customer satisfaction levels and develop strategies to improve them.
Vendor Relationship Management : Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors by establishing clear expectations, monitoring performance, and resolving issues promptly. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery terms
Team Management : Manage a team of business analysts and developers. Enhance the technical and behavioral skills of associates through development plans and upskilling / training.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent
Minimum of 1 0 years in Information technology
Bilingualism (French and English written and spoken)
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
Proficiency in analyzing data and using it to make informed decisions.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Able to succeed even when given ambiguous, unclear, or inconsistent information
The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Collaborer avec le Leader de la transformation numérique afin d’élaborer une feuille de route trois ans alignées aux besoins de l'entreprise.
Gestion des incidents : Réagir efficacement aux perturbations et incidents critiques affectant les systèmes essentiels de la chaîne d'approvisionnement. Communiquer proactivement avec les clients internes et les parties prenantes lors des crises, en fournissant des mises à jour sur les actions correctives en cours.
Conformité et rapports : Assurer la conformité réglement aire et le respect des exigences de certification applicables, y compris SOX, normes de cybersécurité et de conformité.
Innovation et intégration technologique : Explorer l'IA et la robotique pour améliorer les opérations de la chaîne d'approvisionnement ainsi que la prestation des services informatiques. Diriger des projets pilotes, évaluer la faisabilité et le ROI avant une mise en œuvre complète.

Négocier des contrats et des accords pour optimiser les prix, la qualité et les termes de livraison.
Gestion de l'équipe : Gérer une équipe d'analystes commerciaux et de développeurs. Améliorer les compétences techniques et comportementales des collaborateurs par des plans de développement et des formations/renforcements.

Diplôme universitaire en technologies de l'information ou équivalent
