The Director, New Program Introduction manages industrialization and program activities throughout development and into production. The role involves collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, quality teams, and clients, overseeing projects like procurement, cost management, production readiness, and configuration management. The position is full-time, on-site in Longueuil, with flexible hours.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Acting as a liaison among engineering, marketing, after-sales, and operations managers.
  2. Managing client relationships regarding delivery and operations strategies.
  3. Overseeing engine cost management and risk planning.
  4. Handling presentations and defining program goals.
  5. Collaborating with other managers within the same engine family.
  6. Managing industrialization plans, schedules, budgets, and project materials.
  7. Monitoring resource needs and providing progress updates.
  8. Managing human resources, performance, and development programs.
  9. Performing other personnel and project management tasks.

Qualifications for success include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related fields.
  • Project management training or certification (PMP, MBA) is a plus.
  • 8-12 years in manufacturing or engineering, with 5+ years in management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, DNA, eSync, PLM.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
