Under the supervision of the Director of the department, the Unit Director will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and managing the employees to achieve performance targets and service standards (sales, productivity, quality, etc.). The role includes achieving business objectives, managing the allocated budget, and personnel management.
- Manage the team personnel, actively contributing to growth, sales, and retention goals;
- Participate in projects to evolve departmental methods and procedures;
- Exert participative leadership, fostering a performance culture by empowering employees;
- Conduct coaching sessions and telephone listening according to company standards; intervene in quality analysis and customer relations as needed;
- Monitor performance indicators, improve processes, and optimize team operations (call handling, service quality, etc.);
- Identify training needs in collaboration with employees and HR, and follow up on training;
- Ensure continuous improvement by supporting employees and ensuring proper use of tools;
- Plan daily staffing, managing absences, vacations, telecommuting, etc.;
- Maintain business relationships with insurers to communicate opportunities and issues;
- Collaborate with HR on recruitment processes;
- Hold monthly interactive team meetings involving unit employees;
- Handle complaints and improve customer experience;
- Support teams by taking calls during peak periods;
- Perform other related tasks.
Qualifications :
D.E.C. in damage insurance or equivalent;Broker license in damage insurance for individuals (AMF);Minimum 5 years of experience in personal insurance, including at least 1 year in a management role or relevant experience;Experience in call centers (an asset);Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;Knowledge of insurer systems (an asset);Loyalty and professional integrity;Ability to objectively communicate company decisions;Motivational skills for team management;Customer service orientation and goal achievement focus;Excellent sales and negotiation skills;Autonomy and organizational skills;Problem-solving orientation;Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.Note : The repeated headings "Directeur d'unité - Assurance des particuliers" and "Directeur d'unité - Assurance de dommages des particuliers" are present but do not affect the core content.
