Job summary

YAIL Harbor Inc. (Yorkton Adult Independant Living) in Moose Jaw is seeking compassionate direct support workers for part-time on-call roles in a group home environment. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends, with no guaranteed hours.

You will help residents with day-to-day living, encourage independence, and support community inclusion in a safe, respectful, and person-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in a human services field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support residents in participating in recreational, social, and community activities.
• Promote independence and life skills development.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the team.
• Respond to emergency or crisis situations as needed.
