Job summary

Brookville Center for Children's Services in Westbury, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Fri-Mon 7a-3p, part‑time 32 hours per week, to help residents achieve daily living goals.

You will provide support in self-care, health, safety, chores, and social activities while promoting the agency's mission.

A High School Diploma or equivalent and a NYS driver’s license are preferred/required, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and ability to understand written and oral directives.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and maintain qualified driver status throughout employment.

Description

The pay range for this position is starting at $14.00 per hour and above based on experience

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS drivers' license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Practice and promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
