What is the opportunity? At RBC Direct Investing, our Senior Relationship Managers play a critical role by providing expert support to High Net Worth / Ultra High Net Worth (HNW / UHNW) clients with complex needs. Joining our team allows you to showcase your client-focused mindset and ability to develop client-centric solutions, supported by a team committed to your growth. At RBC Direct Investing, you will have resources and support to serve your clients through partnerships with RBC Private Banking, RBC Wealth Management, and RBC Business Financial Services. These positions are based in Quebec City, including Quebec City, Sherbrooke, and Eastern Quebec.

What will you do?

  1. Be accountable for retaining and growing assets within an assigned portfolio of RBCDI’s highest value clients in your market.
  2. Lead with a service mindset, delivering exceptional partner experiences with a high level of care.
  3. Understand your clients’ priorities, and introduce them to RBC partners to add value.
  4. Collaborate with local partners, including Private Banking and Business Financial Services, to identify new high net worth client opportunities requiring personalized onboarding.
  5. Conduct client seminars and knowledge sessions to promote engagement and awareness of RBCDI’s value proposition.
  6. Deepen client relationships by providing insights and guiding clients on maximizing RBC DI’s online platform.
  7. Identify growth opportunities in your market and develop Centre of Influence (COI) networks to attract new business.

What do you need to succeed? Must-have

  • Bilingual in English and French, to serve clients and collaborate with RBC partners across Canada.
  • Post-secondary education with at least 4 years of experience in a client service role.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Track record of achieving results and KPIs.
  • Over 2 years of brokerage or investment industry experience.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) certifications, with IIROC registration.

Nice-to-have

  • Derivatives Fundamentals Course and Options License (OLC).
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management, risk management, and operational procedures.
