Job summary

PAL Airlines is seeking Direct Entry Captains and First Officers to join our team. You will operate on a diverse roster from regional to charter flights across Canada and the U.S., upholding the highest safety and service standards.

Qualified candidates will hold a TC Commercial Pilots License with Group 1 Instrument Rating, multi-engine classification, and relevant aviation credentials. You will be part of a supportive, family‑oriented Canadian carrier with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Commercial pilot license and instrument rating valid in Canada.
• Ability to meet Transport Canada medical and travel requirements.
• Experience or willingness to operate on international routes within North America.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Direct Entry Captain or First Officer on PAL Airlines flights.
• Ensure safety, comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and crew coordination on charter and scheduled missions.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License


• Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating


• Valid Transport Canada Multi Engine rating


• Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical


• Must have one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed in the past two years


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)


• Must hold a current passport at time of hire


• Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa


• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada


• Must have completed a high school diploma


• Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4)


• Hiring minimums for Direct Entry Captain is an ATPL

Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications beyond the basic requirements:

• Applicants who possess a Canadian ATPL


• Applicants with two crew multi-engine turbine experience
