PAL Airlines seeks Direct Entry Captains and First Officers to join an award-winning team. Based in Atlantic Canada with bases in St. John’s, Halifax, and Montreal, pilots enjoy competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits, a defined contribution pension, travel privileges, and holiday/vacation incentives. Formación

• Must hold a Transport Canada license for airline operations.
• Must maintain valid medical and ratings as required by TC.
• ATPL or equivalent credentials as stated are required or recently obtained.

Educación

Transport Canada Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)

Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating

Transport Canada Multi Engine Rating

Transport Canada Class 1 Medical

ATPL or SAMRA & SARON or IATRA (written within 2 years)

Passport valid for travel

• 78 credit minimum monthly guarantee with overtime over 90 credits

• As per the CBA, the successful candidates may be eligible for relocation expenses

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License


• Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating


• Valid Transport Canada Multi Engine rating


• Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical


• Must have one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed in the past two years


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)


• Must hold a current passport at time of hire


• Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa


• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada


• Must have completed a high school diploma


• Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4)


• Hiring minimums for Direct Entry Captain is an ATPL

Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications beyond the basic requirements:

• Applicants who possess a Canadian ATPL


• Applicants with two crew multi-engine turbine experience
