This role involves providing immediate interventions, organizing activities, and ensuring overall well-being through teamwork and active listening. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and CPR certification, with opportunities for professional development.
Participates as necessary in the admission of new residents.
Maintains awareness of each resident's emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, referring them to other team members when necessary.
Ensures adolescents attend their scheduled appointments: psychological, psychiatric, educational, and medical.
Provides immediate intervention using therapeutic crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Contributes to the formulation of individual treatment plans through written reports and participation in team discussions; implements the treatment plan where appropriate.
Organizes recreational activities to make leisure time positive and rewarding.
Ensures daily care and cleanliness of living facilities.
Manages clothing, household supplies, and equipment.
Provides transportation if approved as an Agency Authorized Driver.
Supervises residents' personal hygiene routines.
Remains available for active listening to residents in line with their treatment goals.
Completes daily logs and reports, submitting them to appropriate staff.
Reports damage or needs in the physical plant and supplies as per proper procedures.
Participates in professional development through in-service training, supervision, and external conferences as directed.
Promotes positive values such as integrity, dignity, self-control, honesty, personal responsibility, motivation, and respect for personal property, in accordance with residents' religious beliefs.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
