Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Sales – Partnerships, you will lead and evolve Moneris' partner onboarding and enablement strategy across ISOs, TPAs, ISVs, referral partners, associations, and affiliates. You will champion the transformation of how Moneris engages with and supports partners—whether through reselling partner solutions or enabling referral relationships. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless, scalable, and value-driven onboarding experience that positions Moneris as the partner of choice in the Canadian payments ecosystem.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to VP, Sales-Partnerships.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
  • Lead the onboarding and enablement of new ISOs, TPAs, ISVs, referral partners, associations, and affiliates, ensuring a seamless and scalable experience that accelerates partner activation, and value realization.
  • Spearhead the launch and continuous improvement of Moneris' TPA/Reseller platform, ensuring it supports scalable growth and meets the evolving needs of distribution partners.
  • Shape Moneris' partner strategy, including commercial terms, go-to-market positioning, and value articulation to ensure alignment with market expectations and partner needs.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic partnership opportunities, including market analysis, business case development, and direct partner engagement.
  • Oversee and guide the Partner Development Manager (PDM) team, providing coaching, and strategic direction to drive partner acquisition and success.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations with new partners, collaborating with Legal, Sales, Finance, Product, Technology, and Pricing teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and parallel departments (e.g., Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Product, IT, and Support) to enhance partner offerings and ensure Moneris remains a market leader.
  • Work with our teams to enhance KYC and onboarding processes and requirements across all partner types, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a best-in-class experience.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 10+ years of strategic sales, integrated solution sales, or business development experience with a proven track record of results.
  • 7+ years of leadership and people management experience.
  • Previous experience in the payments, fintech, or technology industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with partner ecosystems including ISOs, TPAs, ISVs, and referral models.
  • Knowledge of sales management methodologies, reporting tools, and strategic selling processes.
  • Familiarity with project delivery lifecycles, especially in technology or financial services.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and cost reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Payments Regulations & Rules in Canada
