We are searching for a Casual Dining Room Server to join our Parkland Fredericton team based in Fredericton, New Brunswick (southside).

About the Opportunity

  • Consistently ensures food quality, presentation, and service delivery meet established standards, ensuring meals are visually appealing, at the correct temperature and portion size, with warm, attentive, and timely service.
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests according to established standards, respecting residents' rights to individualized services, observing dietary restrictions, preferences, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain dining room appearance according to standards, including table linens, settings, and tidiness.
  • Clear tables, load and operate dishwashers, and perform manual warewashing as needed.
  • Contribute to the team environment within the Food and Beverage department, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding changes in residents' nutritional status.
  • Promote safety by following safe work practices, reporting hazards, and supporting safety education.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

About You

In addition to valuing continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least one year of food service or customer service experience
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire
  • Proficiency in English; French skills are an asset
  • Smart Serve & Food Handlers Certificates are assets
  • Experience working with seniors in long-term care or similar environments is an asset
  • A passion for healthcare and ensuring seniors have access to quality care and services.
