Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dining Room Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Strong wine knowledge; WSET or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering refined, memorable service.

  • Manage and mentor the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Job description

Bar Prima is a vibrant Italian-inspired restaurant located in the heart of Trinity Bellwoods at 1136 Queen Street West, Toronto.

We’re currently seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and an appreciation for wine—someone who’s confident managing service and overseeing a thoughtful, evolving wine program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-Lead daily service with poise, energy, and a strong floor presence
-Manage and mentor the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest experiences
-Oversee and maintain the restaurant’s wine list, working closely with the Chef and beverage team on selections, inventory, and pairings
-Support staff wine education and elevate wine service standards
-Handle scheduling, onboarding, and team communication
-Act as a brand ambassador for the Bar Prima experience


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
-Previous experience as a Dining Room Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
-Strong wine knowledge (WSET or equivalent certification is a plus)
-A proven ability to manage wine inventory, ordering, and list curation
-A confident, affable, and hospitable leadership style
-Attention to detail and a passion for delivering refined, memorable service
-Comfortable using POS and reservation systems
