About the Opportunity

You will be responsible for designing and improving digital experiences across web, mobile, and related platforms to enhance satisfaction, usability, accessibility, engagement, and conversions. Reporting to the Director of Brand Experience, the Digital UX / CX Lead will contribute to a strategic digital transformation impacting customers and team members across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and liaising with external agencies on website IA restructuring and design projects
  • Creating and publishing new pages, sections, and microsites
  • Overseeing annual content and digital UX improvements with subject matter experts
  • Providing UX / CX recommendations across a digital ecosystem supporting multiple brands and websites
  • Developing and managing a Digital CX / UX Continuous Improvement plan
  • Using data, including A/B testing and analytics, to inform initiatives
  • Conducting user research and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Designing user flows, page layouts, and prototypes (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD preferred)
  • Collaborating with marketing, content, recruitment, and systems teams to implement user-centric designs
  • Monitoring digital UX / CX trends and best practices
  • Identifying KPIs and conversion events, measuring and reporting on improvement efforts

About You

In addition to valuing continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX / CX design or digital customer experience roles; experience with large-scale digital transformation projects is an asset
  • Education and/or work experience in Human-Centered Design, UX Design, Psychology, Marketing, or related fields
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (asset)
  • Basic SEO concepts and application
  • Experience with email marketing and automation (preferred)
  • Strong skills in Google Analytics or similar platforms, CMS (e.g., WordPress), and engagement software (e.g., Simplycast)
  • Excellent communication skills, including plain language content writing
  • A passion for healthcare and ensuring seniors have access to quality services and care
