The mission of the Digital Technology department is to design, build, deliver and operate robust, efficient, and scalable Digital technology solutions that align with our strategic, business and technology goals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Digital Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for delivering everyday luxury experiences to Aritzia’s clients by leveraging technology to meet and exceed the vision and mission of the business. As the Senior QA Analyst, Digital Technology, you will be responsible for leading and executing advanced software testing activities to reveal quality issues and assess risk, enabling informed decision-making. This role contributes to the creation of test strategies, diagnoses complex issues, and provides coaching to other testers on test strategy, execution, and tools. The Senior Quality Analyst also plays a key role in improving cross-team collaboration, guiding testing priorities, and serving as a subject matter expert in testing practices. THE ROLE

As the Senior QA Analyst, Digital Technology, you will:

  • Coach team members on test strategy, execution techniques, and the effective use of testing tools.
  • Chair Testing Guild Working Groups to advance organizational testing practices.
  • Drive and lead the prioritization of testing activities, including cross-team coordination when required.
  • Evaluate, explore, and model products and features to identify comprehensive testing needs.
  • Identify gaps or anomalies in requirements and provide clear, actionable feedback.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior QA Analyst, Digital Technology has:

  • Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:
    • Context-driven and session-based testing.
    • Rapid software testing practices.
    • Automation tool selection.
    • Expertise in identifying tasks, dependencies, and risks during backlog grooming & planning.
    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency with agile methodologies.
    • Retail industry experience is an asset.
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles.

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
