Job Description:

The Digital Supervisor is responsible for developing a high-performing team and guiding client and campaign strategies. This role oversees the entire buying and implementation process for dedicated client groups, collaborating with trafficking, media operations, and media planning teams to meet client objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in search programs and a strong understanding of the search landscape, ensuring quality standards in buying strategy and execution.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee activation deliverables throughout the campaign lifecycle to optimize media buys and meet client goals.
  • Manage complex search programs for public sector clients, including standard and AI-powered search, and stay informed on the evolving search landscape.
  • Support the team in developing investment strategies that maximize media efficiency and budget utilization.
  • Enhance the team's knowledge in media, data, and technology areas.
  • Lead vendor relationships and guide vendor selection to support investment strategies.
  • Identify and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Drive adoption of dentsu capabilities like d.suite, TAG/DCO, etc., within media brands and clients.
  • Assist media planning teams during campaign activation to ensure performance and address issues.
  • Implement quality control processes across client groups.
  • Prepare reports demonstrating campaign strategies and outcomes to clients and internal teams.
  • Promote a high-performance, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Media, Advertising, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in digital media planning and buying.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop top search talent and manage performance.
  • Expertise in search management, campaign optimization, and management processes.
  • Ability to build confidence and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in numbers and budgeting.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
