Job description

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Digital Advertising Specialist to oversee, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. This role combines responsibilities from both digital strategy and ad operations, making it ideal for someone with a strong grasp of campaign management and technical ad operations.

The Digital Advertising Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end campaign execution, from planning and launching to optimizing and reporting on results. Working closely with internal teams, this individual will ensure campaigns run smoothly and meet client goals by employing data-driven insights and optimizing ad performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Campaign Management & Execution:
    • Plan, create, and manage digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms, including Search, Social, Display, and Programmatic channels.
    • Coordinate with Creative, Product, Content, and Data teams to ensure all elements are ready for launch.
    • Implement keyword sourcing, audience targeting, and creative trafficking to maximize performance.
    • Conduct regular performance analysis to identify improvements and deliver insights.
    • Manage audience data for targeted advertising and retargeting, optimizing for KPIs.
  2. Optimization & Performance Analysis:
    • Optimize campaigns to meet KPI ranges.
    • Develop ongoing optimization processes, including A/B testing and targeting adjustments.
    • Use analytics tools to refine strategies.
    • Identify revenue opportunities and provide forecast and optimization suggestions.
  3. Reporting & Insights:
    • Monitor and produce performance reports.
    • Provide weekly updates and monthly reviews.
    • Present data clearly to stakeholders.
  4. Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and clients, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Participate in client meetings to present findings and improvements.
    • Assist in developing custom campaigns for clients.
  5. Testing & Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement testing and optimization strategies.
    • Drive operational improvements and test new formats and targeting capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media buying and ad operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of ad platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, DV360, etc.
  • Understanding of analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Google Ads Certification; bilingual in English and French (preferred).

This is a temporary full-time role for 1 year.
