As the Digital Services System Architect, you are a trusted technical expert who creates and applies innovative solutions by combining the latest technologies with our building automation offer to help drive sales and deliver long-term business value to our retail customers.

Supporting the Canadian Digital Energy team, you will work on small to medium-sized building energy management architectures including HVAC, lighting, power monitoring, and field device selection integrated into our cloud solution.

  • Contribute to sales pursuits by creating and promoting the business value of our solutions, building credibility with customers to inspire, inform, transform, and support business objectives.
Successful Project Execution
  • Architect solutions that are robust, scalable, innovative, supported, and aligned with the commercial and/or account strategy.
  • Provide technical validation, risk management, and technical governance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver hands-on technical training, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Requirements:
  • Electrical, mechanical engineering degree or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in architecting cloud-connected building management systems, automated fault detection, and diagnostics
  • General understanding of the technical requirements of smart buildings or IT/OT networking
  • Desire to work with various customers and project stakeholders (e.g., building automation technicians, project managers, consulting engineers, procurement and purchasing, operations and maintenance staff) and to understand their roles
  • Ability to take and manage risks with a sense of accountability
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within Canada

For Quebec-based candidates, functional French is required.
