Bird Construction is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Endpoint Administrator to design, implement, and support enterprise-wide workstation and mobile device endpoint administration, utilizing Microsoft Intune and related technologies. You will lead initiatives in modern device management, automation, and security while supporting over 6000 endpoints across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.

This position is based on site in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or other major cities.

What You Will Be Working On

Manage OS deployments using Windows Autopilot and maintain standard images.

Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune environment.

Automate device and application management using PowerShell, Azure, and Intune.

Package and deploy applications and updates in Intune.

Lead the design and documentation of deployment environments (Autopilot, Intune).

Ensure the performance, compliance, and security of 3500+ PCs and endpoints.

Administration of mobile (iOS / Android) fleet with Intune MDM.

Provide Tier 3 support and resolve complex endpoint issues.

Participate in the development and enforcement of end-user computing (EUC) standards.

Lead improvement initiatives for mobile device and end-user computing management.

Mentor junior team members and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders.

Conduct testing and validation of operating systems, security patches, and enterprise software.

Actively participate in continuous quality improvement and knowledge sharing.

Monitor and report on endpoint performance, compliance, and vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Security teams to align with enterprise initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

3+ years in enterprise systems administration (1000+ users)

Microsoft certifications (Modern Desktop, Security, Teams) strongly preferred

Advanced-to-expert proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Configuration Manager, Azure AD / Entra, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Defender, Teams, and Windows 10 / 11, Software packaging and deployment for Windows, iOS, and Android endpoints

Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and remediation tasks

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to support complex issue resolution

Experience with Office 365 deployments, Apple device enrollment, Sys internals tools, and Group Policy

Familiarity with IT security, networking, virtual servers, and change management

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, for both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites

Flexibility to work irregular hours or on-call as needed to address urgent IT needs
