We are looking for a talented and passionate team‑player to join the Digital team as a full‑stack developer. You’ll be playing a big part in building the next evolution of our platform as we move to provide extensive new capabilities to our clients, working alongside a strong team of developers, product managers and designers. Your work will contribute to the delivery, reliability, and optimization of the core digital application, leveraging the latest JavaScript based tooling and best practices. You will also have an opportunity to learn and expand our AWS/GCP infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. Technology Stack: JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular18, NodeJS, Ruby Rails, Spring, SpringBoot, Express, GraphQL, Database: PostgreSQL, DevOps: BitBucket, CircleCI, FastLane, Terraform Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services.

What can you expect in this role?

• Work with a team of skilled software engineers creating a rapidly evolving consumer‑facing platform.


• Collaboratively work with others to design front‑end solutions and use the tech stack effectively to solve business problems.


• Bring in ideas to the table to make best use of the evolving technology landscape to make end to end developer experience optimum.


• Collaborates with the Designer to automate unit tests, applying development practices such as TDD and Pair Programming - Is responsible for unit testing and system testing their code.


• Proactively identifies technical debt and seeks ways to improve via refactoring of code.


• Coding/Development, Deployment, Maintenance & Support of Technology Solutions


• Develops technical designs that support maintenance and support requirements.


• Applies and leverages code and build management frameworks and tooling provided by the Build Master.


• Works with the Environment Analyst to create and configure environments to meet the requirements of the solution.


• Verifies that solution documentation is complete, accurate, auditable, and is traceable to business and/or systems requirements.


• Expertise in operating in Agile Methodologies. Two weeks sprints.


• Collaborates with the Scrum Master and the team to develop and maintain the project Kanban System, and develop the Iteration Plan and Release plan.


• Assists in the translation of requirements into a story map in collaboration with the Discovery Team.


• Designs solutions according to the specific needs of requirements being specified during the current iteration only.

What do you bring to the role?

• University Degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems or a related discipline.


• Strong Knowledge of Node.js and SpringBoot, supporting frameworks and best practices.


• Strong knowledge of AngularJS and Angular18, supporting frameworks, pattern, and best practices.


• Strong understanding of designing code for performance and security.


• Strong understanding of front‑end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.


• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL or Redis.


• Basic understanding of dev‑ops pipeline design and its working for front‑end applications.


• Practical understanding and experience working in a cloud environment for developing and releasing front‑end applications.


• Experience Integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.


• You understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.


• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git/Bitbucket.


• Practical understanding of enterprise and web architecture and REST.


• You have a strong knowledge and experience with applying design patterns, object‑oriented analysis and design, service‑oriented architecture, n- tier architecture, and leading‑edge coding practices such as clean code and refactoring.


• Sound understanding of security protocols for front‑end applications like OAuth and security vulnerabilities will be beneficial.
