Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Digital Procurement Manager (Source-to-Pay) to lead the digital transformation of procurement through AI, automation, and technology. You will partner with Procurement, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to modernize sourcing, supplier management, and CLM.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement or analytics, 5+ years leading large digital initiatives, and a Bachelor’s degree. Remote-friendly, with a competitive salary and annual bonus in Canada.

The Digital Procurement Manager (Source-to-Pay) is responsible for leading the digital transformation of the procurement function through technology, automation, and artificial intelligence. This role partners closely with Procurement, IT, Data & Analytics, Finance, and key business stakeholders to modernize sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and source-to-pay processes. The role will be a key part of defining and executing the digital procurement roadmap, drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, and ensure measurable value creation through improved efficiency, cost optimisation, and risk management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development, and lead the digital procurement and AI enablement strategy, as part of our overall procurement strategy, aligned with enterprise digital and source-to-pay transformation goals
• Develop and own a multi-year roadmap for procurement platforms, automation, and AI use cases
• Act as a thought leader on emerging procurement technologies, AI/ML applications, and best practices
• Drive the business vision for core procurement systems (e.g., ERP, sourcing, CLM, supplier risk, P2P)
• Lead selection, implementation, and optimization of digital procurement tools
• Establish KPIs and value-tracking mechanisms for digital and AI initiatives
• Quantify and communicate benefits related to cost savings, productivity, cycle time reduction, and risk mitigation
• Continuously improve solutions based on performance data and user feedback
• Lead change management, training, and adoption strategies across global procurement teams
• Build digital and AI fluency within procurement through education and capability development
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior procurement and business leaders
• Establish governance for digital procurement tools, data usage, and AI lifecycle management
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners on digital innovation initiatives

The level of rigor expected:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, digital transformation, or analytics
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide digital or technology initiatives
• Strong understanding of procurement processes (sourcing, supplier management, contracts, P2P)
• Experience with AI / machine learning or automation applied to procurement or the supply chain
• Experience implementing or managing procurement technologies and platforms
• Demonstrated success in change management and driving adoption within complex organizations
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong data-driven mindset
• Knowledge of tools such as SAP, Coupa, or similar platforms
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bilingualism – French and English
• Experience working in a global organizational environment
