Reports To: Assistant Production Manager

In this role, you will be fluent in all aspects of digital printing and pre-press processes. Your expertise in the Adobe Suite will be essential in ensuring high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including excellent telephone skills.
  • Graphic Design: Engage in graphic design tasks as required.
  • Timeline Management: Ensure that all project timelines are met.
  • Print Production: Oversee the entire print production process, including finishing and delivery.
  • Administrative Tasks: Communicate with clients throughout the digital print workflow, from initial contact to delivery.
  • Job Specifications: Review work orders to ensure customer files and formats are accurate.
  • File Preparation: Prepare files for digital printing by checking fonts, links, color calibration, and creating bleeds and crops when necessary.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate digital print equipment efficiently.
  • Finishing Tasks: Perform cutting, laminating, folding, binding, and packaging.
  • Department Monitoring: Monitor daily requests, orders, and vendor responses.
  • Inventory Management: Check inventory levels and stock supplies as needed.
  • Team Participation: Actively participate in staff meetings.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Production Manager.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Corel Graphics Suite, Fiery Command Workstation, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Exceptional time management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining focus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively from concept to completion.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of digital print production experience.
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum two years of digital print production experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Work visa is required.
