Job summary

Jukebox Print in Toronto is seeking a Commercial Digital Print Operator to operate and maintain HP digital presses, ensuring top print quality, colour accuracy and efficient production.

The role begins with full-time training shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by core shifts Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Ideal candidates have 3 years of digital press experience, preferably on HP 7900, and a strong team-focused work ethic.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial digital press experience, preferably on HP 7900.
• Attention to detail and colour matching ability.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Strong English communication (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Set up files for the press queue.
• Ensure print quality, colour accuracy and registration.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machines as needed.
• Manage inventory, consumables and parts.
• Document issues and communicate with managers and technicians.
• Inform upper management of issues.
• Follow supervisor instructions and tasks.
• Adhere to safety and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do: Operating and Maintaining HP Digital Presses

• Setting up files for the queue of the press
• Ensuring quality of prints, colour and registration
• Performing quality control checks
• Adjusting, troubleshooting and maintaining machines as needed
• Managing inventory, consumables, parts
• Communicating with manager, team, technicians leaving detailed documentation
• Informing upper management of any issues
• Following instructions and tasks assigned by supervisor
• Adhering to safety and company polices
• Maintaining and organizing a clean space

What We’re Looking For: Commercial Digital Print Operators with 3 years of digital press experience preferably on HP 7900
