A major Canadian retailer is seeking a Digital Messaging Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of customized communication strategies. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in digital messaging and CRM, along with technical skills in platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This full-time, 12-month contract role requires working on-site four days a week and offers opportunities for career growth.
Why is this role important?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Messaging, the Digital Messaging Manager will lead the planning, development, and execution of 1:1 communication strategies to drive customer engagement and retention for our PC Express, Joe Fresh, and Shoppers Drug Mart businesses.
The Digital Messaging Manager will deliver highly personalized campaigns, maintain workflows, and identify new triggers & journeys across email, SMS, and push channel. They will oversee day-to-day campaign operations, partner closely with marketing and cross-functional teams, and manage the performance of automated programs and journeys.
This role combines hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members, driving best practices, and identifying net-new and optimization opportunities.
Note: This is a 12 month contract with opportunity for renewal. This role requires working 4 days on-site per week.
