Work location & Schedule

The first three months will be onsite for training purposes and the option of hybrid remote work will be available after successfully completing the probationary period. Located at 19295 25th Ave, Surrey B.C, this full-time permanent position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring 40 hours per week with no weekend shifts.

Why this role matters

The Digital Marketing Specialist provides support for marketing initiatives that create brand awareness and drive profitability. They work closely with the Marketing Manager on internal and external communications, manage & optimize Google Ads, design projects, promotions, and events.

This role is essential for driving brand visibility, customer engagement, and business growth. By managing digital advertising, content creation, and branding, it ensures marketing efforts are effective and aligned with company goals. Additionally, it supports sales teams with promotional materials, enhances customer communication, and optimizes marketing performance through data-driven insights.

What To Expect In The Role

  • Google Ads & Digital Advertising – Manage and optimize campaigns, budget, and ensure alignment with business goals. Monitor performance, adjust strategies, monitor key word search, align PPC strategies and ensure compliance with marketing priorities.
  • Database & Content Management – Maintain customer databases, manage marketing assets, and support automation using HubSpot, Salesforce, and Magento.
  • Quality Control & Process Improvement – Ensure marketing efforts meet quality standards and optimize based on data-driven insights.
  • Marketing Support & Administration – Provide support to the marketing team and suggest improvements for Marketing KPIs monitoring and reporting.
  • Design & Branding – Create marketing materials, event flyers, and promotions while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Content & Social Media – Develop and manage content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media. Schedule posts and engage with audiences.
  • Marketing Support & Events – Distribute promotional materials, assist with event planning, and coordinate vendor/customer engagements

Ideal candidate profile

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital marketing, online ads, SEO & content writing
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PPC best practices (GoogleAds, GA4, SEO, keywords). Experience with conversion tracking, retargeting, and budget management. Google Ads certification is a plus.
  • Strong design skills with experience creating promotional materials, including flyers.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Magento (eCommerce) essential.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience working in a Mac environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work through periods of heavy workload and multiple tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license is a strong asset.
