Job description

This role is responsible for creating digital marketing content and campaigns for various channels including but not limited to social media, that accurately reflects GoodLife Fitness brand and sub-brands. This role will work with the Social Media team to populate and manage the digital marketing content calendar for all active and future channels. This role must develop tactical social media campaign strategies and content that support the various business units’ requests and overarching business goals on a monthly basis. This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting on the success of campaigns and activations across social media, and providing actionable insights on continued support and improvement of campaigns and strategies.

What will you be doing?

  • Supports Digital Marketing Manager with planning of social calendar and strategy, Curates, develops and deploys effective social media and digital marketing content that support campaigns and activations across all active channels. Also ensuring consistent branding of various posts, ads and messages for each activation.
  • Meets with key internal stakeholders to identify business unit goals and upcoming initiatives that require support on social media.
  • Develops an effective social media support strategy to support business unit goals and requests
  • Executes social media posts utilizing Sprinklr (social media tool) and maintain/update social media posting schedules
  • Ideates and develops tactical execution with social media content and creative, working with designers to conceptualize assets
  • Works with any other necessary internal stakeholders to gather assets (i.e., Audience lists, website links, contributor content, disclaimers etc.)
  • Collaborates with the Customer Membership team on social media comment management. Work through approval process with key stakeholders
  • Deploys, monitors and provides reporting on final, approved activation
  • Works closely with paid media lead and external media/creative agencies on the execution of paid media (digital, social media, traditional) to support campaigns and activations
  • Works with media agency to develop campaign plan and budget recommendations
  • Works with the Digital Experience team to create custom digital audience lists needed for campaign targeting to marketing platforms and share them with the agency
  • Maintains communication with media partners to launch activation ads and campaigns as planned
  • Participates in paid campaign planning, learning with social media team, paid media agency and partner platforms (i.e., Pinterest, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Supports planning, develops and deploys effective emails and email campaigns that support business initiatives and projects, ensuring consistent branding and key messaging.
  • Meets with key internal stakeholders to identify business unit goals and upcoming projects and initiatives that require email support
  • Develops effective email support strategy to support business unit goals and requests, and provide recommendations and timelines back to key stakeholders
  • Works with any other necessary internal stakeholders to gather assets (i.e. audience lists, website links, offers, content, disclaimers etc.)
  • Ideates and develops tactical execution of email(s), write content, copy and headlines
  • Works with designers on the development of email designs and templates

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years experience in digital marketing experience in marketing communications, copywriting or content marketing, as well as paid digital advertising
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, both paid and organic (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Experience using SMM tools (Sprinklr Hootsuite etc.)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
