Job description

Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager (Music & Artist Campaigns)

Company:Good People Only

Location: Remote (Canada preferred)

Type: 6 month contract with potential for transition to full time

Start Date: August or September 2025

Compensation: $4500 - $7000 CAD monthly, commensurate with experience and salary to be negotiated when contract period is completed

About the Role

Good People Only is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee and lead digital campaigns for our artist roster – with an immediate focus on Good Kid. You’ll report to the CEO and founder of the company and have the support of a digital marketing coordinator to execute on digital marketing strategies. It is critical to understand that this role is heavily focused on Social Media, UGC campaigning, Influencer relationship management and digital advertising.

This is a strategic and creative role for someone who knows how to translate music moments into digital movements - and wants to help artists win on their own terms. You’ll work alongside the company’s founder Crispin and our Marketing and Label Operations manager to tie digital marketing initiatives into our broader marketing and narrative strategies.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage & Mentor: Oversee Digital Marketing Coordinator(s) working across social media, UGC, content planning, influencer marketing, and fan engagement. This includes building playbooks and systems to expand this team.
  • Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO, our partners, artists and marketing team to determine marketing goals. Own the digital marketing strategy for core artists and major releases, from planning and rollout to performance review.
  • Platform Expertise: Guide content and growth strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and emerging platforms.
  • Campaign Leadership: Work with managers, artists, publicists, and partners to craft compelling campaigns around music releases, tours, and merch drops.
  • Influencer & Creator Partnerships: Develop strategies for creator outreach and influencer collaborations that drive discovery.
  • Performance & Insights: Set KPIs and reporting structures, assess platform performance, and optimize strategy based on results and audience behavior.
  • Innovation & Trends: Identify new opportunities, tools, and tactics to keep our campaigns fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
You Might Be a Fit If You…
  • Have 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in influencer, music, entertainment, or creative brand work.
  • Are results driven and a proficient communicator
  • Understand how to interpret digital insights and convert them into actionable campaign goals or pivots
  • Have managed people or teams and love mentoring others while keeping things on track.
  • Know how to build social and digital marketing plans that feel organic to the artist’s identity and exciting to fans.
  • Think like a strategist but can execute like a doer — comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed.
  • Speak fluent social media and know how to build momentum with creators and fans alike.
  • Have experience with campaign tools like Meta Ads Manager, Linkfire, Chartmetric, YouTube Studio, or Sprout/Later.
  • Bonus: You already know Good Kid and have ideas about what would make their fans go wild online.
