We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Director to join our team based in our Toronto or Vancouver office to support recent business success and growth.

The Digital Marketing Director oversees the digital marketing strategy for the organization. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and web analytics. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and technical knowledge to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate leads. A business savvy mindset, the ability to connect digital decisions to business impact, and knowing how to position the right level of technical information with stakeholders are skills critical to your success in this role.

About the role

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of digital marketing professionals, including a Social Media Manager and Digital Knowledge Manager.
  • Collaborate with regional marketers and key stakeholders within the business on digital strategies to support marketing and BD initiatives, programs or campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Set KPIs and ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of digital marketing performance.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including website, email, social media, SEO, PPC, content marketing, and more.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content that engages the target audience and drives engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, communications, design) to ensure a unified brand message.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and build strong relationships through various digital platforms.

Website & SEO Management

  • Oversee website design and site optimization to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
  • Monitor website analytics and create actionable insights to improve performance.

Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads, programmatic advertising).
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

Social Media Marketing

  • Manage and oversee the social media strategy across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Foster community engagement and oversee brand reputation management.

Email Marketing and CRM

  • Develop email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive customer retention.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of CRM across the organization.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze and track the performance of digital marketing initiatives and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across all digital marketing channels.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics and Sprout Social to track user behavior and campaign success.
  • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders with recommendations for improvement.

About you

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and technologies, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media management, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and Sprout Social.
  • Knowledge of website management and UX / UI principles, HTML, CSS, and web development principles.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Innovative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content and campaigns that capture the target audience's attention.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing digital trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing digital landscape.

Salary range : $130,000 - $150,000
