Job description

Position: Coordinator, Digital Marketing
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Manager, Digital Marketing
Position Summary

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing plays an important role in Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE)’s digital marketing efforts by supporting the mobile app, paid advertising, and email marketing. The incumbent will work across all of CSE’s brands.

This Role Will Focus On
  1. Implementing digital strategy across email, app, and paid channels
  2. Executing performance marketing efforts supporting ticket sales, member retention, corporate partnerships, and branding, while optimizing ad performance
  3. Developing, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, brand and integrated marketing strategies to generate leads and maintain a healthy stream of new fans into the marketing pipeline
  4. Working closely with internal departments to maintain a comprehensive digital marketing production and editorial calendar
  5. Providing regular reports with insights and analysis on campaign performance
  6. Ensuring email communication compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation
  7. Monitoring the performance of digital marketing efforts to ensure resonance and efficiency (ROI/ROAS)
  8. Managing game-day initiatives for the app using CMS platforms, including updates, styling, branding, and content management
  9. Creating and scheduling push notifications for content categories such as Game Day Experiences, 50/50 Draws, Ticketing, etc.
  10. Staying up-to-date with future marketing technologies and trends
Required Experience & Qualifications
  1. A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  2. Minimum one year of hands-on digital marketing experience, including ad buying through Meta Business Manager and Google Ads
  3. Experience with digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tradable Bits, Salesforce, etc., and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  4. Excellent communication skills for developing and presenting positioning recommendations
  5. Creative and strategic thinker who challenges the status quo and shares innovative ideas
  6. Experience prioritizing limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
  7. Strong attention to detail, with exceptional time management and organizational skills
  8. Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  9. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by events and promotions
