Job description

Arbor is looking for an enthusiastic social media and digital marketing specialist to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in social media who enjoys writing and creating content and is familiar with paid advertising campaigns.

You will join a team of passionate marketers who tackle many interesting challenges and have fun along the way. You'll be surrounded by caring colleagues and experienced leaders within a well-established Canadian company. Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps from Jane Subway station. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at the office two days per week.

Key Responsibilities :

Social Media - Paid

  • Creating, managing, and executing paid social campaigns for Facebook and Instagram to drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs.
  • Tracking results and reporting to stakeholders.

Social Media - Organic

  • Writing organic posts and sourcing/creating media (images/videos) to accompany posts.
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing our social media content calendar, highlighting important dates.
  • Auditing and updating corporate and branch social media profiles using best practices.
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives to attract, retain, and engage high-quality staff and stakeholders.

Email Campaigns

  • Assisting the marketing team in developing lead-generating and nurturing content for campaigns and branches.

Website Content

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create, test, and track compelling blog content.
  • Using the Content Management System to update website content, including blog posts, images, etc.

Performance Tracking

  • Tracking and reporting on social media campaign results to the marketing team and stakeholders.
What you bring to the role :
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media roles.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels.
  • Experience with Facebook/Meta Ads Manager.
  • Enjoyment in writing and creating content.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and grammar.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset but not required.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.
