Reporting to the Manager, Performance Marketing & Growth, the Digital Growth Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding our digital footprint and driving B2C web bookings to new heights. The successful candidate will leverage innovative channels and experiment with audience acquisition strategies to enhance Air Canada Vacations’ visibility and engagement. A key focus will also be placed on nurturing long-term customer retention, reducing acquisition costs, and fostering sustainable growth. This data-driven role requires expertise in cross-channel marketing, collaboration with digital and loyalty teams, and a passion for creating synergies that amplify business results.

Description And Responsibilities

  • Affiliate Marketing Management

    Identify and onboard new affiliate opportunities.

    Optimize existing affiliate partnerships and regularly report on performance.

  • Data and Market Analysis:

    Conduct macro-level analyses of internal data and market trends to evaluate channel performance, interdependencies, and opportunities for growth.

  • Optimization of Traffic Sources:

    Maximize under-utilized, high-converting, always-on traffic sources.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Lead key cross-functional projects to accelerate growth across other digital channels.

  • Audience Engagement and Growth:

    Develop strategies to target secondary B2C audiences.

    Explore innovative approaches to boost engagement and drive bookings.

  • Growth Roadmap Development:

    Build and prioritize a growth roadmap that identifies opportunities, considers technical and resource dependencies, and aligns with business objectives.

    Present plans and projections to senior leadership with clear business cases to support incremental costs.

  • SEO and Content Strategy:

    Define and implement a technical SEO strategy to enhance organic search visibility.

    Identify opportunities for new features and improvements to scale the brand globally.

    Provide meaningful insights to inform content projects and ensure alignment with growth objectives.

  • Competitor and Industry Trends:

    Analyze competitors and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven experience in affiliate marketing, SEO, and digital growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO tools and best practices.
  • GA4 experience required
  • Understanding of Canadian regulations regarding privacy and cookies required
  • Strong ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics, and make highly informed decisions based on analysis
  • Experience with collaboration in cross-functional teams, including technical implementation projects with IT stakeholders
  • Explicit attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and requests from competing stakeholders, and to align day-to-day responsibilities and strategies with wider corporate strategy
  • Ability to build excellent working relationships to attain goals
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team environment assisting colleagues whenever possible
  • Experience in travel industry specifically with tour operator, a strong asset
  • Fully Bilingual – English and French
