Summary

Position: Digital Content Specialist, CHUM 104.5

Location: 260 Richmond Street West

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Hours of Work: Full Time. Overtime as required

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital and social masterplan for CHUM 104.5; support CHUM on-air, promotions and programming teams with digital, social media, video and mobile strategies to meet the goals set for our teams.
  • Produce and promote the best digital content to enhance CHUM’s presence across all platforms. This includes repurposing on-air content for digital consumption and creation of new original content, with a focus on original video and on-demand audio.
  • Monitor social and digital channels to ensure station is on track and hitting benchmarks while being responsible for data collection and the interpretation and presentation of analytics
  • Conduct regular learning sessions with the talent to escalate performance on digital; support local teams through coaching on new features and tools
  • Manage in app stations pages, cross network app campaigns, host playlists and app engagement performance
  • Creation of graphics for CHUM promotions and social activations

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-directed creative ambassador who has 3-5 years of hands-on experience with all aspects of digital media production and holds a relevant University degree or comparable college diploma
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere)
  • Mastery of Social Media
  • Experience with working with a CMS to publish content
  • Experience working with Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Sharp eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Mature, strong work ethic, engaged, enthusiastic, and open to learning
