Brock University is seeking a Digital Content Assistant to develop and manage social media content for student audiences. You will work with the Social Media Manager and Video Specialist to brainstorm, create, and implement engaging digital content that reflects Brock’s experiences and campus life.
The role emphasizes on-campus activity, campus events coverage, and weekly video editing. It offers a part-time contract with 5 weekly hours, starting 04/09/2026, through 04/07/2027, with 5 positions

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the Part-Time Contract Positions (Employee Group). Working closely with the Social Media Manager and Video Communication and Production Specialist, the Digital Content Assistant will contribute to building and maintaining Brock University’s social media presence through content planning and content creation for the student audience. The Digital Content Assistant will research, present and implement new methods of engaging students online and will be involved in creating content that fosters a positive school spirit, promotes a culture of inclusivity and accessibility, and supports domestic and international recruitment goals. The successful candidate may also work with University Marketing and Communications on a variety of special projects throughout the year.
Rate of Pay: $17.95/hour
Weekly hours: 5
Contract start date: 09/04/2026
