Location: Edmonton Alberta (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract With possible extension.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field of study. Yes
• Experience conveying technical information to non-technical people and advising decision-makers on technical options. 5 years
• Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise project with integrations between systems. 5 years
• Experience leading and mentoring team(s) in agile principles, policies, and procedures 5 years
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the ability to leverage them to build scalable and resilient architectures. 2 years
• Experience working as a software architect on complex software solutions in an agile team environment. 5 years
• Experience working in software development across the full software development lifecycle 5 years
• Experience working with open-source ecosystems such as Node.js/NPM. 5 years

Nice to Have:

• Experience implementing DevSecOps in an enterprise environment 2 years
• Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases. 5 years
• Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries. 5 years
• Experience working as a senior technical resource identifying and advocating technologies and approaches that lead to digital transformation in the public sector context. 5 years
