Job description

Our Client is seeking an Application Architect to work on service innovation, program review and digital transformation projects. The Architect will work as part of cross-functional program review or product delivery teams. The Architect will guide the team in the rapid, iterative delivery of user-centric services with solution designs that align to the overall architectural vision and are in support of technical standards, coding standards, common tools and platforms. Able to provide hands-on coding, if required. Must have a strong technical understanding of current and emerging technologies, balanced with strong business acumen and project leadership skills.

While this role is remote, candidate must be a Canadian Citizen and perform all work within Canada during regular business hours.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered

• Experience as a software architect, leading the design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions using modern development stacks in complex organizational environments. (5+ years)

• Experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches. (2+ years)

• Proven ability to define and communicate solution architecture for large-scale systems, including integrations, modernization strategies, and cloud-native design patterns. (4+ years)

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making. (5+ years)

• Experience working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS. (5+ years)

• OpenShift / Kubernetes framework (5+ years)

• Apollo GraphQL for UI data access service.(5+ years)

• NX for Javascript build and project management.(5+ years)

• NodeJS Build environment / HTTP server for service projects.(5+ years)

• NestJS for Dependency injection on data access service.(5+ years)
