Description

Hi there, we’re Article. Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time. This requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. We are looking for a Digital Advertising Specialist to manage our Google Shopping and Google Search campaigns and explore new Direct Response (DR) channels.

This position is a fixed-term for 13-15 months.

  • Phone interviews start on June 4th
  • Video interviews begin the week of June 16th with the Manager
  • The final interview will be in person at our HQ office

Ideal start date: July (flexible)

Why We Need You:

You are an experienced Digital Advertiser capable of running effective ad campaigns that convert clicks into customers and maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). You will collaborate with vendors and our digital marketing team to drive revenue and customer acquisition. Reporting to the Digital Advertising Manager, you will assist with Google Shopping and Search ads strategy, including campaign management, analysis, and reporting.

This role is ideal for an analytical, outcome-driven individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.

About the Team:

We operate as a hybrid team, with in-office presence 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).

What You’ll Do:

  • Improve the Paid Search program by measuring success through metrics like CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and other conversion indicators.
  • Provide campaign reports and analyses to senior leaders and stakeholders, highlighting successes and suggesting improvements.
  • Review trends and auction insights; make data-driven recommendations based on search demand and business performance.
  • Collaborate with Google and external vendors to discover new opportunities and strategies for scaling performance.
  • Coordinate with analytics, technology, creative, brand, and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment.
  • Document best practices and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Use G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Meet) and Slack for collaboration, with your choice of Mac or PC.

Who You Are:

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital advertising with Google Ads.
  • Managing a seven-figure annual digital advertising budget.
  • Expert in Google Ads (Shopping, Performance Max, Search), preferably for eCommerce.
  • Experience with Shopping Feeds, Google Merchant Center, and Feed Management Tools.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create custom reports using Google Sheets/Excel, GA4, Looker Studio, and Tableau.
  • Proficient in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Incremental Lift testing.
  • Proficient with G Suite/Microsoft Office.
  • Curious, growth-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining marketing automation.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Completion of a criminal background check.
